Interview with Nicole Bjornerud
We got the pleasure to have a short interview with Nicole Bjornerud WHO IS NOT ONLY A BEAUTIFUL MODEL
BUT NOW SHE IS GOING From U.S.A Soldier to soon to be sex Therapist.
Where were you born?
I was born in Memphis Tennessee in the United States.
What is your occupation?
I was a soldier for the United States Army but since 2020 I have now been honorably discharged. Now I'm obtaining my bachelor's degree to become a licensed sex therapist.
Why did you decide to become a model?
I always wanted to be a runway model since I was a little girl but I never reached the height requirements. When my ex-boyfriend had an Instagram page to promote models like Arsenic was doing, I decided to gain interest in becoming a model, It became an extreme hobby after I left my relationship.
What are your favorite things to shoot?
I love shooting lingerie and editorial shoots. Lingerie makes me feel sexy and empowering, while the editorial lets me express fashion and uniqueness to my features.
Favorite activities when not modeling?
I am an outdoor manic. I strongly believe I am like a plant because I can not go without sunshine and fresh air. In Los Angeles, I would hike as much as I could and sit by the beach. Now in Nashville, I get to take my best friend's dog for walks in the city. I bought a guitar, so hopefully, I will be able to do some basic stringing by Winter of 2021 and start writing songs; since writing has always been a great way for me to express how I feel.
If you do any job in the world, what would it be?
I want to be an interior designer. It is so much fun to organize and pick out expensive decor for arrangement in staging a home to sell. I absolutely love architecture, the two are overlooked in beauty.
Tips for girls interested in modeling?
Yes there are still model standards in notable agencies, but that will change over time so never give up and don't ever let someone tell you it is too late to change your image if you are going from risque and implied to print. There should be a balance of beauty and sexiness. Never compare and don't create bad habits to fit in.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Can being OCD be my hidden talent? Maybe a matchmaker? I am going to become a therapist so understanding human interaction and situations are my talents haha!
What are guilty pleasures food-wise?
I love fried chicken so much. I don't enjoy eating meat as much the older I get but I will never turn down a good southern fried chicken.
What are the 5 things you can’t live without?
My car I am so thankful to have the ability to own my own vehicle. My friends, at least the few I have, are everything and I would be extremely depressed without them. My parents are the reason why I am here today. Opportunity is something I can not live without because without that I would be lost in life or stuck with simplicity and that's not me. I don't know what else.
What are the things you look for in a guy (or girl) when dating?
I look for someone who is optimistic and does not fail to communicate emotion, admiration and ambition. I need someone who is not going to give up on themselves and their goals. Someone who is a family man and loves as though tomorrow is not promised.
What outfit makes you feel most sexy?
Being nude hahaha and lingerie! Honestly even sweatpants.
How do you maintain your body, i.e. work-out regimen?
I just eat really really healthy and PORTION CONTROL!
How do you prepare for a shoot?
I used to smoke weed before but that has since changed. It takes me a long time, I even have to mentally prepare a whole day before. I'll wear the outfits and do a runway. Play music always.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself living in my semi-dream house with the career that I studied my ass off for. Close friends and a husband who is ready to begin our expansion in the family.
How would you like to be remembered?
I was the first woman at 17 years old in Arizona to become a Combat Engineer (2016) a year after they opened combat jobs to women throughout the military. I will be known for that, as the model and as the woman who selflessly cared for individuals of sexual trauma and exploitation.
What are your interests or hobbies?
I am interested in arts, health, music, theatre, nature, traveling. Honestly all of life is my interest.
Any regrets in your life?
I regret not pushing harder in the Army despite my injuries that were sustained in uniform. However, I do not regret joining despite the lifelong pain I will endure.
